x64 file is a disk image file used by Commodore 64 emulators, such as VICE (Versatile Commodore Emulator).
It contains an exact copy of the data from a Commodore 64 floppy disk, including the game, application, or operating system data. This file allows the emulator to run the software as if it were being loaded from the original floppy disk on a physical Commodore 64 system.
